How it all started...
RIVER ROCK FOURSQUARE CHURCH started in 1992 as home church. Through the vision of those few founding members, the church grew and needed a new meeting place. In 1993, the church, then known as Molalla Foursquare Church, purchased and moved to our current location.
For over thirty years, we have been serving the Molalla community as well as the surrounding areas and communities.
In 2018, during an extensive remodel and repair project on our buildings and property, we discoverecd that the property, like much of Molalla and surrounding areas, sits on a deep layer of river rocks that have been deposited by the Molalla River over thousands of years.
The decision was prayerfully made to change the name of our church from Molalla Foursquare church to RIVER ROCK FOURSQUARE CHURCH. We believe we are anchored on the Rock, who is Jesus and the River which is the flowing of the Holy Spirit into our lives. This also honors our region of the Molalla River Basin which includes Molalla, Canby, Colton, Woodburn, and all the towns that are part of the Molalla River Basin.

Expanding the vision...
Our vision has grown ! We want to reach the entire Molalla River Basin which includes many towns and rural areas including Oregon City, Estacada, Colton, Molalla, Woodburn, Canby, and surrounding areas.
Our vision is for our entire region to experience relationship with Jesus. We believe we are called to this region to be a part of a move of God that is new and life-giving.

Where we are headed...
We believe the church exists outside the walls of a building. Our desire is to take the Kingdom of God to businesses, schools, and communities to reach all people with the love and grace of God through Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to partner with other ministries through collaboration, support, and gatherings. We envision many ministries working together to further the work of the Kingdom.
